Following the recent amendment of art. 23 of Legislative Decree 30\/2007, starting from 1 June 2024, foreign family members of Italian\/EU citizens who will travel to Italy for the purpose of family reunification, will have to apply for a national visa for “family reasons”, as provided for by D.I. 850\/2011 annex A point 10, although the issuance of Nulla Osta by the competent Single Desk for Immigration (Prefettura) is not required.<\/p>\n
