Cost for a visa and how to pay

FEES

Depending on the type of visa being applied for, applicants are required to pay the following fees at the VFS Global application centre in local currency (Ghanaian cedi/CFA), calculated according to the exchange rate updated every quarter.

The table below shows the visa fees for Schengen visas (Type “C”) and National visas (Type “D”), calculated on the basis of the current exchange rate:

In addition to the above-mentioned fees, applicants are required to pay VFS a service fee of 143 Ghanaian cedis for the submission of Type “C” and Type “D” visa applications (adults and children).

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants submitting their application at the VFS office in Lomé are reminded that payments can only be made by credit card.
