Third edition of the “Call for Solutions”, for financing projects submitted by young people from the Countries most affected by climate change, organised within the Youth4Climate initiative

The “Youth4Climate” (Y4C) initiative, which was Launched in 2021 during the PreCOP in Milan initiative promotes the active participation of young people in climate negotiations. Thanks to the collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Y4C is now a permanent initiative and has recently reopened the “Call for Solutions” competition to support projects by young people aged 18 to 29 in six thematic areas:

  1. a) Sustainable Energy – Innovation and access to clean energy.
    b) Food and Agriculture – Climate-resilient farming practices.
    c) Climate and Health – Impacts of climate change on public health.
    d) Digital for the Planet – Digital technologies for climate resilience.
    e) Climate, Peace, and Security – Climate action in conflict settings.
    f) Nature – Nature-based solutions for adaptation and mitigation.

Winners will receive an award of up to $30,000 implement their projects, and proposals can be submitted in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. For more details, visit the following link:
